Dear ISEE Member,

Following the impact and international discussion from the recent U.S. Executive order to limit visas and travel for individuals from seven countries to the US, we would like to state that ISEE stands by all of its members. Our society is enriched by the diversity of our membership including different countries of origin, nationalities, religions, genders, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, socioeconomic statuses, and areas of expertise. We believe that, together, we will be best prepared to meet our organization’s mission to foster epidemiological studies on the effects of environmental exposures in people, stimulate communication between health professionals, promote methodological advances, and strengthen environmental health policy. In our continued commitment to these goals, we will work to the best of our ability to ensure that all of our members are able to contribute to our society’s mission and participate in the core activities of ISEE. As an international organization, we stand behind our mission and our members, in the name of open science without borders.
