Call for Applications: ISEE DEI Committee Co-Chair

Are you passionate about fostering a more inclusive, equitable, and globally connected environmental epidemiology community? The ISEE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is seeking one new Co-Chair to help lead our committee beginning in 2027.

The DEI Committee works to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within ISEE through activities such as conference programming, networking opportunities, mentorship and leadership development initiatives, educational webinars, and collaboration with other ISEE committees and chapters.

Serving as a Co-Chair is a rewarding opportunity to help shape DEI activities within the Society, work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic committee, and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for ISEE members around the world.

Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from current ISEE members who are engaged in and actively participating in the DEI Committee and are interested in helping guide the committee's future activities and priorities.

If you're not currently a DEI Committee member but would like to get involved, you can join the committee through your ISEE membership portal by selecting the DEI Committee as one of your volunteer interests.

What Do Co-Chairs Do?
Co-Chairs work collaboratively with committee members to:

• Help organize and facilitate DEI Committee meetings
• Support DEI initiatives and programming throughout the year
• Engage with ISEE leadership and other committees
• Foster participation and collaboration across the Society
• Help identify opportunities to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within ISEE

The role is shared between two Co-Chairs, making it a collaborative and supportive leadership experience.

Applications will be accepted through September 30, 2026.
Selected candidates will be invited to participate in a DEI Committee meeting in Fall 2026, after which the committee will vote to select the incoming Co-Chairs.
