ISEE Announces Three New Council Members

The International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to the Executive Council. The three new members include President-Elect, and two new Councilors, representing the regions of North America and Latin America and the Caribbean.

“The ISEE council is powered by highly accomplished scientists, who generously volunteer their time to steer the society and inspire cutting-edge science, advocate for global societal change, and tackle the most pressing environmental challenges of the 21st century,” said Andrea Baccarelli, ISEE President. “We are excited to welcome Nelson Gouveia, Ruth Etzel, and María Elisa Quinteros to the ISEE council and look forward to their contributions during their term.”

Nelson Gouveia, President-Elect, is Professor, Faculdade de Medicina - University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Ruth Etzel, Councilor, North America Chapter, is Professiorial Lecturer, George Washington University, United States.

María Elisa Quinteros, Councilor, Latin America and Caribbean Chapter, is Assistant Professor, University of Talca, Chile.
