ISEE Announces Three New Council Members
The International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to the Executive Council. The three new members include a President-Elect, and two new Councilors, representing the regions of Europe and North America. Gwen W. Collman will join the ISEE Council as President-Elect, joined by European Councilor Bénédicte Jacquemin and North American Councilor Marianthi-Anna Kioumourtzoglou.“I am pleased to welcome, Gwen, Marianthi, and Bénédicte, and congratulate them on being elected by our peers to serve on the ISEE governing council,” said Nelson Gouveia, ISEE President. “We look forward to drawing on their experience and enthusiasm on this journey. It is always a great pleasure to welcome new members to the Council who will volunteer their time to help strengthen and lead our society in the years ahead.”
Gwen W. Collman, President-Elect, is Director, Office of Scientific Coordination, Planning and Evaluation, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), United States.
Bénédicte Jacquemin, Councilor, European Region is researcher at the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM), France.
Marianthi-Anna Kioumourtzoglou, Councilor, North America Region, is Associate Professor, Environmental Health Sciences, Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, United States.
